Alina Zagitova won the Olympic women's figure skating competition bringing OAR their first gold medal at the Pyeongchang Games. In the free skate 15-year-old Zagitova managed to maintain the advantage over her compatriot and training partner Evgenia Medvedeva, a two-time world champion. Canada's Kaetlyn Osmond took bronze.
