Homes were left with shattered windows in the central Russian city of Dzerzhinsk, Saturday, following a series of blasts that hit a state-run explosives-manufacturing plant.
A total of 79 people were confirmed injured by the Russian Health Ministry, following the incident, mostly as a result of wounds sustained due to shattered glass in nearby houses. Almost 200 buildings were damaged following... Еще the explosions.
The press service at the plant stated that there were no casualties among employees and that they were all briefly evacuated.
According to the local Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), “violations in the technological processes” are possible preliminary causes of the blasts.
