«Long live the Great October Socialist Revolution! Long live Lenin! Long live Russia,» member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party Jose Ramon Balaguer Cabrera said following a flower laying ceremony by Lenin’s Mausoleum and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow on Sunday to mark the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution. «The world that we desire and... Еще the world that will be, everyone should remember that it was born here, in Russia, owing to the Great October Socialist Revolution with Vladimir Lenin heading it,» stated Cabrera. Leader of Russia’s Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov and other members of the party also participated in the ceremony. «We are gathered to pay our respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier as well as to the cherished memory of Vladimir Lenin and to lay flowers,» he said. Delegations from 80 countries representing 120 political parties are said to have taken part in the event.
