Russia: 'Communication channels should be kept open' — Austrian FM on Russian diplomats

Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl explained why Vienna did not expel Russian diplomats following the Skripal case, saying that even during «complicated circumstances, communication channels and diplomatic channels should be kept open.» She was speaking at a joint press conference alongside Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow, Friday. Kneissl emphasised that since the 1950s... Еще, headquarters of many international organisations have been located in the Austrian capital. Lavrov on his part said that Moscow is not ready to amend the Minsk agreements in order to have the western sanctions against Russia annulled. Reacting to a statement by the US State Department that America has credible information of Russia delaying the OPCW inspectors from gaining access to Syria's Douma, the foreign minister remarked «in case they have it, they should show it.» He also called for Britain and France to «put the facts on the table» on the alleged chemical attack in Khan Shaikhoun last year.
