Russia: At least seven injured in massive fire at Moscow Region power plant

At least seven people were injured after a huge fire broke out at a heat and power production station in the city of Mytishchi, in the Moscow Region, on Thursday. According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), the conflagration broke out when the a gas container at the facility ignited. Flames soared at least 50 metres (164 feet) high, so the fire brigade has called in... Еще firefighting aircraft to tackle the blaze. The power plant was put into operation in 1992 and predominantly uses natural gas as fuel.
