Fans of FC Mordovia and Zenit-Izhevsk watched a test match between the two club sides at the brand new Mordovia Arena, built for the 2018 World Cup, on Saturday. The match, which resulted in a goalless draw, was the first of two test matches to be held at the stadium ahead of the World Cup. «We really liked the game, liked the stadium itself. Outside, it is also pretty, nice to look at, inside... Еще it is also well designed and all ready for World Cup matches,» said one spectator. A reported 10,000 people were expected to attend the match at the 45,000 capacity stadium. The venue is set to host four group stage matches at the 2018 World Cup.
