Russia: 700 paratroopers take part in drills near North Korean border

Some 700 paratroopers equipped with heavy weaponry partook in military drills near the city of Ussuriysk, around 250km (150mi) from the North Korean border with Russia. It marks the first time the 83rd Guard Air Assault Brigade is taking part in drills following its re-equipment. According to Russian Air Assault Forces Deputy Commander in Chief Andrei Kholzakov, the «whole battalion was re...
