Russia: 14 detained at Navalny rally in Ekaterinburg

Hundreds of people participated in an unauthorized rally to support of jailed opposition activist Alexei Navalny in Ekaterinburg on Saturday. According to Navalny’s office coordinator in Ekaterinburg, 14 people were detained but later released. Evgeny Roizman, Mayor of Ekaterinburg, appeared at Trud square and addressed the participants: “We are responsible for ourselves and for our country. It’s nice that you are here. Good to know you weren’t afraid.”
