Thousands of protesters continued to rally in Bucharest, Sunday, after the government approved plans to reform Romania's fiscal system. Demonstrators gathered in the capital's Victory Square, before proceeding to march towards the Social Democratic party (PSD) headquarters. Upon their arrival to the PSD building, protesters threw rolls of toilet paper chanting shouting «Run off to jail.» Two... Еще protesters were briefly detained in order to be identified, and at least one more was handed a citation for disturbing the peace. One of the protest organisers chanted anti-Russian slogans and encouraged protesters to boo as they passed the Russian embassy during the march. According to the plans of the ruling coalition, social contributions that are currently paid directly by the employer will have to be covered by the employee, starting from January 1st next year which would reportedly result in a five percent to 25 percent reduction in salary.
