The Romanian Coast Guard rescued on Wednesday a migrant boat with more than 150 people from Iraq and Iran. The migrant vessel was shown arriving in Constanta, on the Black Sea coast, early in the morning.
In footage released by the Romanian Coast Guard, Director of the Coast Guard Cristian Cicu said, «Out of the 153 people, approximately 53 are children». He added that the authorities spotted... Еще the boat before it entered Romanian waters.
The rescue operations were coordinated by the Coast Guard, with the support of the Department of Defence and the Romanian Border Police, who intervened when the boat was floating adrift in rough sea.
