A nursing cat has become the adoptive mother of a new-born squirrel that was discovered alone in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Alice, a wildflife volunteer, discovered the baby squirrel and took it home, where it joined the family of the mother-cat and two other kittens, as seen in footage filmed on Friday. According to Alice, besides the cat's milk, the squirrel eats a special mixture through a syringe... Еще every two hours. Most of the time it rests in a special nest, constructed especially for the newborn. Alice has already received an offer to have the squirrel placed in a zoo, but plans to try and release the critter back into the wild. If the squirrel prefers life with humans to the forest, it is set to be housed at a centre for wild animals.
