Prosecutor in ex-police officer charged with Floyd murder’s case seen outside Minneapolis court

Prosecutor Matthew Frank was seen outside Minneapolis court on Monday, as a hearing was held for former police officer Derek Chauvin, who pressed his knee on George Floyd's neck for nearly nine minutes as he was begging for his life. Derek Chauvin, who is currently being held at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Oak Park Heights in Stillwater, appeared by video link. His bail was set at $1.25 million. George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, was killed during an arrest in Minneapolis on Monday, May 25, after officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes despite Floyd saying he couldn't breathe. The officer was arrested and charged with charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
