Poland: Lublin’s first Equality Parade marred by teargas, counter-demo

Police teargassed counter-demonstrators targeting the first Equality Parade in the Polish city of Lublin on Saturday. Counter-demo participants had reportedly used firecrackers, thrown stones and apples at the parade participants when police deployed water cannons and teargas to ward them off. Thousands had participated in the Equality Parade, with close to 500 nationalists and hooligans... Еще countering the LGBT+ march. While the gay pride parade has been held in Warsaw for 17 years, it is the first time the parade came to the eastern Polish city.
