Peru: Relatives of COVID-19 patients sleep in front of hospital as they await info

Relatives of COVID-19 patients were seen sleeping outside a hospital in the Peruvian city of Lambayeque on Saturday, as they waited for information about their loved ones. People were seen sleeping on makeshift beds made out of mattresses and cardboard, or directly on the pavement in front of the Lambayeque Regional Hospital. Peru has at least 350,000 thousand cases of coronavirus and 12,998 related deaths, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
