Peru: Lima streets deserted as coronavirus curfew imposed

The streets of Lima were deserted on Wednesday as a curfew imposed by the government to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus came into force in the Peruvian capital. Police and military personnel could be seen enforcing the new measure announced by Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra which mandates that people remain in their homes from 20:00 to 05:00 local time (01:00 to 10:00 GMT...
