Peru: Floods wash away parts of country's central highway

Flash floods washed away a nearly 500-meter-long section of the nation's central highway in the town of Ambo in central Peru, forcing travellers to continue their journeys on foot for several kilometres as seen in footage captured on Monday. According to the local authorities, under current weather conditions the repairing of the road will take approximately 30 days. Due to heavy rains, the...
