Panama: Protesters rally against slow pace of infrastructure construction

Hundreds rallied against a perceived slow pace of the construction of vital infrastructure in Panama's second largest city Colon on Thursday. Protesters chanted and held banners, expressing their anger over the slow pace of a project aiming to revitalise Colon's collapsed sewage system, deficient water supply and crumbling housing. Ditches left open for long periods were regularly filled... Еще with dirty water due to the failing sewage system. The dirty water then flooded the city's streets. One protester named Edgardo Voitier said «Mr. President, stop being so stubborn, sign the decree and establish a diologue, do what we elected you to do, govern and solve the problems!»
