Worshippers at Masjid Ashrafiya mosque in Hassan Abdal, around 40 kilometres northwest of Islamabad, were seen praying at the end of the holy month of Ramadan, getting ready for Eid al-Fitr holiday, Saturday.
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, social distancing was not observed during the prayers.
«Ramadan arrived with great happiness for us, we are saying goodbye now. We are feeling grief in our... Еще hearts because blessings are leaving us,» said Mumtaz Hussain, one of the worshippers.
Eid al-Fitr or Idul Fitri is a major religious holiday for Muslims. The feast is characterised with an abundance of food after the daytime fasting of the month of Ramadan.
