At least four people lost their lives during an attack on Pakistan's stock exchange in Karachi on Monday, after gunmen approached the building and opened fire.
Police were seen taking stock of the ammunition recovered from the scene of the attack, while bodies lay strewn outside of the exchange building.
According the South Karachi's Deputy Inspector General, the assailants were met with a «quick» response from security and police personnel standing guard on site.
All four gunmen involved in the attack were shot down by police, and multiple security guards and on civilian were also among those killed.
The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), an ethnic separatist group, has reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack via social media.
