One-armed baller from Dominican Republic slam dunks adversity on the court

Hansel Enmanuel Donato Dominguez is a one-armed basketball player who surprises opponents every day on the courts of Santo Domingo. The six feet five inches tall player showcases his prowess on the Club Deportivo Matrisa's courts, shooting three-pointers consistently, dunking and performing layups. Hansel has basketball running through his veins as his father was a professional player. The 16-year-old has been playing since he was old enough to walk. «My biggest idol is my dad, Hansel Salvador, an American basketball star. He always took me to his tournaments when I was a kid, and I was playing basketball since I was five years old. My idol from the NBA is Kevin Durant,» stated Hansel on Friday. Like his idol Kevin Durant, Hansel can both attack the basket and shoot from deep, and could be seen dominating and making many baskets during a five vs five match up. «My dream is to get to the NBA. I send a message to the youth that they shouldn't give up, keep going forward, heaven is the limit and you make your destiny,» exclaimed Hansel.
