The world's most expensive chocolate bonbon was displayed at the International Chocolate Festival in the Portuguese town of Obidos on Friday, with a price tag of €7,728 ($9,502). 'Glorious' the bonbon was exhibited under the careful guard of two uniformed men. The costly confectionery's crown-shaped box is decorated with 5,500 Swarovksi crystals and comes equipped with tweezers bearing the customer's engraved name. 'Glorious' creator, chocolatier Daniel Gomes, confided that it took more than a year to develop the sumptuous sweet, and that it takes around three weeks to fabricate it from scratch.
