Norway: Mi-8 helicopter remains found and examined by rescuers

The remains of a Russian Mi-8 helicopter that crashed near Spitsbergen, Norway, were inspected by a team of Russia's Ministry for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (EMERCOM), Wednesday. The helicopter was found by a Norwegian vessel taking part in the search and rescue operation. EMERCOM used a deep-sea remote control Seaeye Falcon apparatus to... The Mi-8 helicopter was carrying five crewmembers and three scientists when it crashed at sea on October 26, killing all eight people on board.
