The two-time 400m hurdles world champion Karsten Warholm said he was feeling «nervous» ahead of his attempt to overhaul at 300m hurdles world record at Oslo's Impossible Games race on Thursday.
«I'm actually getting more nervous because I've not been running the 300m hurdles that often. I'm more familiar with the 400m hurdles and I know how to deal with that,» said Warholm, speaking from Oslo on Wednesday.
«I am going to go out even harder than I do in the 400m hurdles. I always try to empty the tank and give everything that I have and I am going to do it tomorrow as well,» he added.
The 300m hurdles world record is currently held by Briton Chris Rawlinson.
Karsten’s race is due to take place at Oslo’s Bislett Stadium on June 11.
