An abandoned KBG hospital currently being demolished in the town of Zheleznodorozhny in the Moscow Region dragged a quadcopter to its doom on a particularly bleak, Wednesday, in one final act of media censorship. Construction on the 3,000-bed hospital was carried out from 1981 until September 1991 but never finished. Over the past 26 years, the condition of the building gradually deteriorated... Еще, but that did not stop it becoming a favourite haunt for local teenagers, graffiti artists and drug addicts. Demolition work began on the building in September and will be completed by summer 2018. Another, more welcoming hospital is expected to be built on the 14-hectare (34.6 acres) plot of land. Workers at the construction site risked life and limb entering the dilapidated building to recover the quadcopter, which was eventually found on the tenth floor and may live to fly another day.
