The march finished with a group of snipers shooting against demonstrators in the area of the National University of Engineering, local media said. According to eyewitnesses, the shooters were police officers and paramilitary. “There are snipers, and there were more injured, there have been like ten injured people. They are shooting on the head, only on the head”, explained one resident. “This is not a game, these are real bullets”, said another one. The march was organised by the Mothers of April Movement in solidarity with the mothers of students and demonstrators who have been killed by police and pro-government forces since the start of the nationwide political crisis in April.
