The Dutch police dispersed hundreds of people protesting against social distancing measures aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19 in the Hague on Tuesday.
An estimated 200 people were ordered to disperse in the central area of The Hague as they protested against restrictive measures put in place by the government to help curb the spread of the Coronavirus in the country.
Protesters carried... Еще anti-lockdown banners and taunted the Dutch police who were called there to disperse the protesters who were violating the public gathering ban that the government had imposed since mid-March.
Mounted guards clashed with the protesters, several of whom were detained and placed in buses to be processed for arrests.
The Netherlands authorities have instituted fines up to €390 ($ 422) for breaching the social restrictive measures as the country has reported 41,285 COVID-19 cases and 5,184 deaths related to the virus.
