A 35-year old man was arrested in connection to Friday's stabbing attack in The Hague, according to police spokesperson Marije Kuiper, who gave a statement in the Dutch city on Saturday.
«We arrested a 35-year old man in the city centre of The Hague. This man has no fixed place of residence and right now he is being transferred to a police station where he will be questioned,» said Kuiper... Еще.
«Yesterday we received of course a notion of the stabbing and since then we are doing a very extensively investigation of course, non-stop, and in the investigation we found clues that pointed in the direction of this suspect, so that is why we arrested him and we are now looking into his involvement with this incident,» she said.
«All three victims were minors — it was a 13-year old boy from The Hague, a 15-year old girl from Alphen aan den Rijn, and a 15-year old girl from Leiderdorp. They were treated of the injuries at the hospital and later in the evening yesterday they were released from the hospital,» said Kuiper, adding that the investigators are now seeking to determine the suspect's involvement in the stabbing.
An unknown perpetrator went on a stabbing spree at a shopping stretch in The Hague, injuring several people in the process. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
