Dozens of Dutch farmers drove their tractors to the Parliament and the Senate in the Hague on Tuesday, to protest the Nitrogen Emergency Act recently approved by the Dutch Senate.
The law includes rules for low-nitrogen feed, the possibility to introduce a threshold value for nitrogen emissions and the introduction of a nitrogen registration system.

«We want to get some space for entrepreneurship, so we want to be farmers, we want to grow as it is necessary,» said a protester.
