Dutch senators approved a bill to ban burqas from public places after a vote was held in The Hague on Tuesday. The bill backed by three of the political parties in the ruling coalition. The fourth party, D66, voted against it. MPs approved the vote by 44 to 31 in the 75-seat chamber. The ban will apply to clothing that fully covers the face, including burqas and niqabs, as well as non... Еще-religious items of clothing such as motor bike helmets. It will apply to schools, public transport, government buildings and hospitals. Perpetrators can be fine up to €400.
