Prince Albert II of Monaco and his wife Princess of Monaco Charlene hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan on a state visit in the Mediterranean Principality on Sunday.
The programme included a private meeting between the official couples, a gift exchange ceremony and the signing of Monaco's Head of State guestbook by the Chinese leader, among other events.
Prince Albert... Еще and President Xi Jinping also held a bilateral meeting on economic and environmental issues, while the First Ladies, accompanied by the royal twins, attended a short performance by Chinese-Canadian violinist Zhang Zhang.
Prince Albert and Princess Charlene then hosted an official lunch for the Chinese and Monegasque delegations, with the participation of the Princess of Hanover and Princess Stephanie.
Xi visited Monaco as part of his three-nation Europe tour. The Chinese president has already visited Italy and will then head to France where he stays until March 26.
