Mexico: Women's march square up to female riot police

A march condemning femicide and other forms of gender-based violence ended in clashes between female protesters and female riot police in Mexico City on Monday. The demonstrators, wearing black with green and purple headscarves, brought with them a range of homemade signs. Some elements chose to target statues of national figures, burning the protective cling film and then spraying graffiti. A...
