Mexico: Parents of missing students attack military barracks

The Mexican National Defense Secretariat in Iguala was attacked with Molotov cocktails on Thursday as parents demanded action to find 43 victims of a mass kidnapping in 2014. Forty-three students from Ayotzinapa went missing on 26 September 2014 after being detained by police in Iguala, a city in the state of Guerrero. On December 6, 2014, the first of the missing students, Alexander Mora Venancio, was confirmed dead by forensic specialists at the University of Innsbruck. Thousands have protested since, calling for justice and the safe return of the missing students.
