A caravan of migrants from Central America resumed their slow march through in southern Mexico on Thursday, as they left their camp in Juchitan headed for Matias Romero in Oaxaca. Pre-planned bus transport failed to materialise, leaving most forced to walk on foot or hitch a ride on passing buses and trucks. The group recently changed their route, choosing to pass through the Gulf coast city... Еще of Veracruz, the path which leads to Texas, thus avoiding a high-altitude climb via Mexico City. Many migrants have been travelling for more than two weeks, since a group first formed in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. They must still travel around 1,600 km (1,000 miles) to reach the US border.
