Tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets of Mexico City on Sunday to demonstrate their disapproval of the government's response to gang violence.
Footage shows large crowds marching and chanting whilst holding up banners decrying the violence, as well as members of the Mormon LeBaron family who were massacred by a drug cartel in November.

Nine members of the LeBaron family, including three women and six children, were shot dead in their cars on the road between Sonoroa and Chihuahua on November 5. The attack is thought to have been carried out by a drug cartel operating between Mexico and the US.
An investigation into the events is still ongoing and according to local reports several people have been arrested in connection with the massacre.
