McQueen, Sinatra and Jamiroquai’s cars go under the hammer at Birmingham auction

Hundreds of cars belonging to dozens of celebrities were put on display at the NEC Classic Motor Show Sale in Birmingham on Friday. The automobiles which attracted the most attention from were Steve McQueen's Willys Jeep, Frank Sinatra's Rolls Royce Corniche and Jamiroquai's collection of seven different cars, including his grey 2016 McLaren 675 GT. Harry Whale, Sales Manager at Silverstone... Еще Auction, said that McQueen used his Willys Jeep right up until his death. Arwel Richards, classic car specialist at the Silverstone Auction, gave a little background on Frank Sinatra's Rolls Royce Corniche, saying «It was bought by Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. for Frank Sinatra's 70th birthday. And about eight years later it was given to his assistant and friend who then in 2001 sold it to my client.» The 2018 NEC Classic Motor Show Sale will take place November 10 — 11. More than a hundred of vehicles will be put up for auction.
