A family of ducks went into the Bahia Sur supermarket in San Fernando, Cadiz, where most shops are closed as the province is in phase one of the four phase de-escalation of the COVID-19 lockdown.
The cheerful scene was filmed by workers at the shopping centre and shows a duck followed by its ducklings, which have trouble walking on the waxed floor. The group can also be seen waiting for a... Еще duckling that lags behind several times.
The unexpected visitors came from the Bahia de Cadiz Natural Park, a protected natural area that extends over 10,522 hectares and is next to the shopping centre.
The province of Cadiz is expected to move on to the second phase of the de-escalation announced by the President of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, on 28 April. In this phase, the opening of shopping centres, indoor bars, cinemas, swimming pools and beaches among other measures is allowed, but with certain limits.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, a total of 231,606 cases of COVID-19 and 27,709 deaths have been recorded to date.
