Macedonia: Parliament ratifies name change deal with Greece

The Macedonian parliament in Skopje voted in favour of ratifying the name change deal with Greece on Wednesday. Members of the nationalist opposition party VMRO DPMNE boycotted the session, which ended in an overwhelming 69 to 0 votes in favour of the ratification. The deal will now be submitted for signing by President Gjorgje Ivanov, who already vowed that he will not do so. Some reports...
