Libya's first Harley-Davidson Riders Club rides on in the central Dahra district of Tripoli, just kilometres away from Tripoli's front line.
The self-proclaimed group called 'Vandals' were filmed riding through the streets of the Libyan capital and later having a drink in 'Classic Cafe' on Tuesday.
One of the bikers recalled his 'easy' ride through the country saying, «It was very peaceful. We... Еще didn't expect it. All the gateways are open up. They gave us petrol, they were happy to see us, they wished us good luck on our way.»
«We are not with any political side. We are just regular guys from Tripoli. We love Tripoli, we love our bikes and that's it,» another Harley-Davidson biker added.
Fighting has been taking place around the Libyan capital since the Libyan National Army (LNA), which controls much of Libya's east and parts of the south, first launched an offensive to gain control of Tripoli from the UN-back Government of National Accord (GNA) in April 2019.
The conflict between the GNA and the LNA has eventually settled into a stalemate. At the Berlin conference on January 19, the leaders of many countries agreed on upholding a UN arms embargo and implementing a ceasefire in Libya.
