The bodies of 46 deceased migrants were buried east of Tripoli in Sidi Khelida on Sunday, after a migrant ship capsized in the Mediterranean causing the deaths of up to 150 people.
Footage shows several people working to construct the graves for the bodies, some with what appear to be body bags laying within them.
«Forty-six people, they are all our brothers, the women, the wives, all of them... Еще here, the children, we will bury them now,'' said a grave digger.
Sources including the UNHCR reported that the incident involved a single wooden boat that capsized with roughly 300 people on board. Some of the survivors were reportedly transferred to the Tajoura detention centre after being rescued by local fishermen and Libyan coastguards.
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has called it 'the worst Mediterranean tragedy' this year.
