Korean DMZ: North, South Korea begin talks on summit agreement implementation

North and South Korea began high-level talks on the implementation of the summit agreement reached by their leaders in Pyongyang last month, in the demilitarised zone (DMZ) village of Panmunjom on Monday. North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in held an inter-Korean summit on September 18-20, agreeing to boost economic cooperation and make steps towards the reduction of tensions. Kim is expected to become the first North Korean leader to visit Seoul by the end of the year.
