Jordan: Floods kill 12 and force tourist evacuations in Petra

Heavy rains and flooding have killed at least 12 people in Jordan on Friday and forced authorities to evacuate more than 3,500 tourists in ancient Petra. Rescue efforts continued into Saturday. Authorities claimed that they have never witnessed such heavy flooding in the area, according to reports.
