Japan: Yokohama panic buying leaves supermarket shelves empty

Footage from Tuesday in Yokohama shows supermarket shelves that should be stocking toilet roll and masks standing empty as the coronavirus pandemic grips the world. Signs were placed in the shop to limit the sale of kitchen roll and tissue paper to one packet per customer, in an attempt to stop customers from stockpiling essential goods. It was not clear if the shelves were able to be restocked... Еще or have been continually selling out of masks, toilet roll and hygiene products. According to the latest reports by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), at least 190,500 people have been infected by the COVID-19 so far and over 7,519 people have died. There are currently 878 cases confirmed in Japan.
