Japan: Kuma village desolate and left devastated from floods

Footage shows the aftermath of recent heavy rains that have caused severe landslides and flooding in the village of Kuma, Kumamoto Prefecture on Thursday. Residents carrying their belongings from damaged houses could also be seen. Flooding hit southwestern Japan on Saturday, killing dozens and leaving more than a dozen missing with nearly three million people ordered to leave their homes. Tens of thousands of emergency workers, police and soldiers from Japan's Self-Defense Force have been deployed to take part in search and rescue operations.
