Japan: Japan showcases first elite marines unit since WWII

Japan's Self Defense Forces (JSDF)'s new elite unit, called The Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade, demonstrated its capability with a public exercise at Camp Ainoura in Sasebo on Wednesday. Around 1,500 members of the unit participated in the exercise, descending from helicopters and exchanging fire with a mock enemy, backed by a dozen of armoured vehicles.
