Japan: Fans go wild as national team beats Columbia in first WC game

Japanese football fans went wilds in a cafe near Tokyo's Shibuya Crossing as the national side beat Colombia 2-1 at the Mordovia Arena in Saransk on Tuesday. The rowdy fans then descended onto Tokyo’s streets where they were channelled by police. Colombia started off poorly, with defender Carlos Sanchez committing a penalty and earning a red card after three minutes of play. Things went from... Еще bad to worse when Japan's Shinji Kagawa managed to open the score from the white spot. Colombian hopes were revived after Juan Quintero equalised the score with a superbly taken ground shot free kick, equalising from just outside Japan's penalty area, in the 39th minute. In the 73rd minute, a Japan corner found Yuya Osako in the heart of Colombia's penalty box, who headed the ball in the back of the net, prompting a jubilant roar by Japanese fans. Japan will next face Senegal on June 24 and Poland will meet Colombia the same day
