Italy: Thousand celebrate new M5S-led government and end of political crisis

Supporters of Italy's Five Star Movement (M5S) poured onto the streets of Rome to celebrate the newly sworn-in government, after the country's President Sergio Mattarella gave a mandate to Giuseppe Conte, on Saturday. Initially the demonstration was called scheduled to demand the impeachment of Matarella, when the President refused to accept eurosceptic Paolo Savona as Minister for Economy. It... Prominent figures from M5S were in attendance, including party leader Luigi di Maio, founder and comedian Beppe Grillo and the new Minister of Justice Alfonso Bonafede.
