Residents of the Ostia region of Rome expressed their feelings about the results of their regional elections on Monday. The results of the election, which happened the day before, revealed that the neo-fascist, anti-immigrant 'CasaPound' party had quadrupled its favour in the area. While some Ostian voters claimed that «this was a vote for change», others described the party as 'disgusting... Еще', with one resident suggesting the rise was down to 'abstentionism' from the region's electorate. Results from Sunday's election saw a narrow three percent margin win for the 5-Star Movement party, with the recent coalition of Forza Italia and Brothers of Italy party coming in narrowly behind. The Ostia region is one of Rome's largest neighbourhoods with more than 230,000 inhabitants.
