Italy: Protesters question Lombardy govt response to COVID at Milan rally

Hundreds of left-wing activists demonstrated in Milan on Saturday calling for the resignation of Lombardy's regional government over its handling of the coronavirus crisis. Protesters were filmed marching with flares while chanting against Lombardy's President Attilio Fontana and regional Health and Welfare Minister Giulio Gallera. The region was at the epicentre of the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy. As the country eased coronavirus restrictions, activists began questioning the government's management of the crisis.
