Italy: ‘I'm pleading for help’ — Son of Italian missing in Mexico cries out

Francesco Russo, son of Raffaele Russo, brother of Antonio Russo and cousin of Vincenzo Cimmino, three Italians who disappeared in Mexico, urged Italian authorities to help his family in Naples on Tuesday. Antonio Russo reportedly disappeared on January 31st at Tecalitlan, Jalisco in western Mexico. His son Antonio and his nephew Vincenzo, already in Mexico, looked for him but soon disappeared... Еще as well. Mexican authorities have since then arrested four policemen for allegedly selling the three Italians to a crime organisation. It is unclear whether or not that organisation is the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion, one of the most notorious cartels of Mexico. «President Sergio Mattarella [...] must help us, because it is unfair that we are like this, abandoned, alone, without any help whatsoever from any Italian institution», Francesco Russo said. He also stated that «Nobody knew my family; they were five days in the country,» a claim rebutted by several sources. Antonio Russo was allegedly arrested in Mexico in 2015 for fraud and corruption.
