Hundreds gathered in Rome on Tuesday to commemorate the 42nd anniversary of the Acca Larentia killings.
Footage shows people performing Roman salutes and marching through the streets of the San Giovanni district. One attendee was also seen attacking a camera operator.
The Acca Larentia killings refer to the murder of three Youth Front activists from the far-right group the Italian Social... Еще Movement (ISM) on January 7, 1978. Two of the three victims Franco Bigonzetti, Francesco Ciavatta were attacked on a street known as Acca Larentia in Rome, Stefano Recchioni was killed at another location. No one was convicted for the murders, with far-right implicating state forces as responsible.
Following the murders, riots broke out throughout the capital. The event has been commemorated annually since.
